ABOUT ME

After 17+ years of working in research publishing, I finally decided to take the plunge and signed up for Executive PHD Program.

I am intrigued by the development of Open Access movement and experience in South Asia, particularly, India and I hope that my research will provide some solutions for the future.

These are my thoughts and experiences as a person who has spent nearly 2 decades in academic publishing now starting an expedition…from Ms. to Dr.

Sangeeta Menon

Sangeeta Menon has worked in various editorial capacities in top global research publishering house for nearly 2 decades. In most roles, she has led the publishing program for South Asian countries

She believes that the biggest challenge in research publishing is poor communication of research itself and lost opportunities for researchers. In her past roles she has guided researchers through training and informative sessions and has shared insights of South Asian market to the publishing companies to shape the products that would benefit researchers in these regions.
